....mate. It's December 20th. I don't believe in Santa.... We aren't gonna see the B8 in 2014... And, yes, this is way beyond ridiculous. I'll be back on this thread when the B8 is here.

I was just thinking, since the steel should have been delivered long ago for the B8 run and the release is waaay overdue, maybe we could call this model the...
B-LA8 = Busse - Long Awaited Eight (i.e. - Oh, This Knife? It "Be Late"....or..." I've had this sheath for over a year in anticipation, but the knife B-LA8."
or, on a more positive note...
This could be the first Basic model to be sooo popular prior to its release that Jerry's planning on making it a long running multi-option offering. He's probably just waiting for the new staff to be fully trained and the new wing of the factory to be completed so he can keep up with demand.
Since this knife would be the first long running "Production" model of the Basic series and could be offered/delivered with features you'd want in a knife to have year-round in ANY weather conditions aaaaaand sized perfectly to embody everything Busse Combat has become famous for (hardcore indestructible blades).... It would be the Perfect COMPANION Blade. Jerry will probably have to change the name slightly to reflect this...
BESTM8 = Basic Enhanced Series - The Model Eight (BEST Mate)
It could happen, he's offered Basic blades under different monikers before (Euro-6).
