Right, more Basic-porn...This is not excatly a Busse Basic, but a Dog with an oldschool Basic handle and i think that this knife deserves to be mentioned when talks gooing on basics... My SYKCO Dumpster Mutt LE, as i got from TALON158 and made from SR-77 steel. This guy has a Tom Krein regrind:

Already placed an order for the first batch of B-8 kydex with Mr. Brown. :D

Both leather & kydex..... Both have their advantages.... But, IMHO, you shouldn't store your knife in leather. However, kydex will not collect humidity and keep your edge protected when stored.

Leather to show off..... Kydex for practicalitie's sake!

...... Welllllll!..... David does make real art out of his kydex/ leather combo sheaths!

Agreed on Mr Browns work,, I have my INFIdu nestled snug in a coyote kydex from him,, its perfect.
I just love the look of leather on the larger blades. Do you normally have to send the blade in for a leather sheath?
Which brings another question, any leather sheath makers score a B8?
 
I make my own "Plain Jane" leather sheaths for myself, but I have kydex sheaths from Dave Brown, Azwelke, Rainwalker, and Mashed Cat; they ALL make excellent sheaths!;):thumbup::thumbup:
