So besides Tom, Rags and Magoo, we have George and Hooker still waiting. Anyone else? (I assume Tim's are en route.)

The more I used this knife the more I like it.

Carrying the B8 is a non-issue with as light as it is. It was pretty stellar at the finer tasks and chopped decently well. Pretty tough to justify carrying a heavier knife for the gain in chopping (particularly when I carry a folding saw for that type of work). Prying..well..we'll see how that goes future use as I don't intend to hold back. I still hope for a full convex version or one in the 0.25" thickness range.

I completely expect to buy a few of these and have one in every pack, vehicle, etc. No reason not to.

Off topic, but how do you like that Ute?

I've got a smaller HPG and am thinking about going up a size (or two).

IMO, it's the perfect pack. No question. This pic is my summer multi-day loadout. For winter, I have the tara pocket that I'll add on for extra storage.

Highly recommended.

I'm still looking for my ideal smaller pack. The Umlindi is extremely close, but not quite, I guess. I'm not sure where I'll land there, but I'm done searching for the larger pack.

I'm still waiting. I was told six to eight weeks. It hasn't been that long yet, has it? As far as good looking?..... Hopefully my Busses will make up for it. Mike
