The grEIGHT BIG HOG B-EIGHT pile must be refreshed from time to time and I think spring time is the best time to pour it on and spread it about!!!

Sooooooooo...Whatcha Think???

Are we there yet?!?!?!?

This method worked for the BB13 so I have high hope!!!! I would have to get a matching set of these gr8 ladies of course.

3:38....good time for the LEB8...

Have to think a synthetic-stocked .338 Win Mag and B8 would make a great Alaska combo.

Ready for anything from building shelter to killing and processing everything from moose/caribou up to Kodiak or polar bear. :D

Ahhhhhh yes, Guns and Busse B8LEs. I only have a 30-06 for long rifle action, but I do have a S&W 500 Mag for big game, well, anything big for that matter. So for me, a B8LE and my 500 Mag would suit me just fine. So now I N88D a B8LE. Let the Gr8 times roll again!

Ah, the venerable '06. The original "get-er-done" cartridge. Anything in North America except (perhaps) the big bears, definitely anything in the lower 48, with plenty of punch, flat-shooting enough for the 300 yd shot. I actually made the longest shot on a whitetail I've ever made with one at 382 steps--he only went about 15 yds. Started shooting one when I was 10 years old and put more meat in the freezer with that caliber than all the others put together.

All you need Bro--just like the Basics!

I'm thinking a Garand with a gas regulator set up for 220gr A-Frames or heavy TTSX's would be pretty comforting to have in the bush country.

Oh, and a parkerized HOG 8 to go with it would be sweet too!!! Just sayin';)

That's so true! With modern bullets like Swift and Barnes are turning out, and with higher velocities attainable from new propellants, the '06 is capable of eclipsing older loads of many heavier calibers. Plus quick follow-up shots from the Garand. Basically Brilliant, Stump!
