BRING IT HOME!!!!!!!! :)

Another post closer to the 1000 post mark (I hear that's what Jerry is waiting for, so let's get there quick!!!)

Only 93 posts left to go!!!

That's a very serious decision. But at under $500 for the ASHBM, why not go ahead and buy it, then buy a Basic 8 when it comes out, and wait until you have them both in hand to make the decision?

Alternatively, you could wait and see if the B8 comes out before Jerry announces the end of the ASHBM. If that happens, the B8 will likely be a short-term release, which means you could buy one via the ganzaa or whatever, then make a decision as to whether to keep it. If it's a short-window release as has been typical with these latest Basics, should be no problem re-selling it quickly for what you paid.

I can't imagine either of those knives not holding its value in the long term, but if the ASHBM stays up for several months, I can see how it might be a bit of a wait to get your money back out of it.

It's Tuesday. Can I get a B8 tomorrow? Please? Pretty please with INFI on top?

I honestly don't know why not. I also don't know why you couldn't have one today--or yesterday for that matter.

Over 900 posts ! Top work, fellas.

Which will come first - the B8 or 1,000 posts ?? ;)

Would like a ASHBM, but i have choppers; SYKCO 1311, Basic 11 and 10 pluss BWM`s (use to have a NMFBM, too), so i dont really need more choppers, but a ASHBM would be nice to have, for sure.

What i really need, is a large knife, made from Infi, blade similar in size to the one on a NMSFNO, but with a comfy Res.-C handle. Not too big to carry on my belt. Thats the knife of my dreams. If i had to choose between those two knifes, there is no doubt in my mind; the Basic-8. But, the ASHBM is an awesome, classic lookin`Busse chopper- would like to have on of those, too.

Do hope that Jerry will launch the Basic-8, before he puts an end to the ASHBM. They both will be some of the greathest knives to be made from Busse:thumbup:
