Still undecided—need to have mine in hand to see what weight/stiffness sheath material is called for, then will decide on kydex or leather.

Haha, one might think a blade that thick only needs a rice paper sheath for support... the rest is just for looks. ;)
 
I like those rice paper sheaths on big, fat knives. If you need to whack something quick, you don't have to stop and remove the sheath.:thumbsup::cool:

Storm...we had a taste yesterday! I shouldn't complain Tuesday it was a temperate 70 degrees so yesterday in the 40's was freezing cold:eek:
 
Another pre-storm bump. Here in East Podunk, It's supposed to drop from the 70s this afternoon down to the low 30s tonight, with thunderstorms in between.
