Congrats on your score Stumpy, it should help relieve some stress while waiting for the Great B-8!:thumbup:

Welllllllll... I picked up a sterile camo Euro-6 yesterday, so maybe that will help ease the need for new Res-C a little.....

...or maybe not...

We'll just have to see.

Pics When it gets here!!!

Congrats on a greath score.

Those camo onces- I dont know anything about them (only from pics.), please tell us some, if you do know. Awesome, man...I`m excited...:D

The ones I've seen have been in the .26-.27" thickness range--you should like that a lot!

Congrats!

I`m pretty sure mine and all of them are about same thickness- but how about year/Ganza/show/(numbers, aprox.), stuff like that...? I guess that yours got them oldschool handles... those are much cooler than the new ones...

Thanks, Will- but Tom`s signature dont show on my screen...;) Tom...Tom, are you listening...?

Thanks Guys... I wish I knew more about it. It has the new style tan handles like yours Ragnerok, but it has a camo blade without logo. You can see it in the Xchange under the graduation ad. OSGB said it was 1/4" thick, so we'll see. I was hoping it was a Tan B9 or B7, but it was still rare enough that it put me over the edge.

Yeah, man- My guess is that it is darn rare!!!

When it comes to diffrences between the 6,7 and 9- i can tell you, that in my opinion, the EB-6, has the best feel and balance of those tree knives- It`s darn close to be the best knife to come from Busse!!! Keep it, man.

All Euro Basic-6, that i`we seen, has been sterile (i thought that all was), so that maybe puts yours in a category on its own. What i know is that Busse did made them original EB-6 in black/black and some tan/tan ones, too (with the oldschool handles).
My tan one is a 2012 Blade show spesial- and to my knowledge there was no camo ones at that show. Yours has the Dogfather style Res.-C handles, too, like mine, which put it apart from the first of the EB-6`s.

We need some expertice here now...Will, resinguy- come on...need some help on this one...

I had one sterile tan camo blade with smooth tan Res handles and partial serrations that I understood was a military overrun and one just like it but with plain edge and the Busse logo (FSH) which I understood was one of two show pieces at Blade one year, but I don't know which year. Blade length was actually about 6 3/4", handle-to-point, IIRC. I believe there were also some plain edges in the sterile mil overrun. They were M-INFI. That's the extent of my knowledge on 'em.

Interesting.... I would think that the newer Res-C handle would have made them more likely to be regular INFI. No worries either way as M-INFI and I got along just fine when I had the "Cactus Whacker".

BOSSMAN or Garth... if you guys have any insight on this one, can you please let us know? (inquiring minds and all that)

Here's a cropped pic of the one that's on the way...

I haven't been able to "google fu" up another pic like this one, they either have logos or are all tan.

PS - I'm really hoping it also has an Asym Edge!!! (it sure looks that way)

I recall those being part of an extravaganzaa, maybe 2009 or 2010. Those were offered in plain edge or partial serrated in the same ganzaa and then a couple years later the basic 6 LE was released.

Before those came out (in fairly small numbers IIRC) the only basic 6's available were the Euro basic 6's in black with the old handles (well, there was at least one dcbb or satin variant overseas that I saw posted on badmojo). I remember being excited to see the basic 6 made available in the states when those came out.
