The Holy Grail of knife collecting?

Been trying to get my hands on this for a long time.... 1 of 2 made...even though every one of our knives holds sentimental value to us...

I think most knife collectors have a personal "grail knife." Most are just certain models that resonate with each individual. Although a lot of users wax on about Sebenzas or Striders, there are just an equal amount, if not more, of users who love their Benchmades, Spydercos, Cases, GEC's, Bucks, etc.

My grail knife is going to be a knife that I like the most, regardless of its monetary value. Just to let you know, my grail knife changes continuously. It's kinda the mechanism behind knife collecting, I guess. :p

 i totally agree.......just like when i got my Hinderer....now searching for Les George Vcep.......it varys

I got my grail in the mail a few days ago... now if I only I can get a second Spyderco Frame lock or one of the old models I'm after... I'll be set.
Anyways.. like I said, got my grail a few days ago.. ZT 0560.

Try to find a Spyderco Kris these days.
I've been trying to find another one, and I swear I could find Bigfoot having a tea party with aliens more easily.

For a LONG time a 3.5" XM-18 was my grail and finally got one a few months ago. I think my next "grail" would have to be a Todd Begg folder or a Flavio Ikoma folder.

I am especially drawn to Spyderco folders. The Military and the Paramilitary 2 models. Preferably in super-steels.
I like 'em.

Couldn't you just go to your favorite online knife retailer, order one of those, and have it some time next week? You gotta raise your "Holy Grail" standards a bit! :D

I'm really after a Spyderco Ti Millie in M4 or a Leafstorm...
Or my holy grail of all grails... the Barong or Khukuri.

Finally put mine together. It is a doug ritter M4 mini with titanium wilkins grips. Will have to get a pic later.

My Holy Grail right now is a masters of defense tempest plain edge by janich. I had one long ago and lost it. Keep missing out on the bay because I don't want to pay triple the price.

Scott Cook Lochsa....couple of years left

Ive since aquired the XM-18 that I stated in my first post.

saw on the bay: a 100th anniversary 100-knife collection of pretty much all case xx slipjoint knives costing a total of $5,000 ($50 per knife average --steep.) but what slipjoint fan won't drool?

Right know its a para 2 :D
But my real grail knife is probably a sebenza or a one of the zt henderers without the flippers..
