Morning folks.

Haven't been around here much lately - too much work. Things are finally settling down which means I'll have more time for the forum.

Hey trade,

What kind of boxes are you using on that trailer?

Hey Gus, those are Contico boxes. We have been using them to pack our camp gear for a good while.

Hey Dubz, those definitely look like street tires. The liberty IS a surprisingly capable vehicle. I rode in one at the Auto Show in Chicago and they took it up and over a hill that it did NOT look like it should have been able to do it... Especially with 4 guys in it where I was the smallest one.

Big project :D. Going to make a stand so I can use this...

Trade, is that a smoke box?

Checked it out Gus, that is awesome! Looks like a beautiful place! I need to get back out... Which I am in 33 days... THIRTY THREE FRICKIN' DAYS!

Howdy, Folks. I got a fun piece of kit yesterday from my folks.

This thing is awesome. I think I'm going to try my hand at making a paracord grab handle for it.

So me fitting in one wouldn't be a problem?

Nice! I've been wanting to get one of those ovens for awhile now. I have a few of those little stoves.

Trade, just use that portable grill you made. Is it tall enough?

Cbear - it's an oven originally designed to use on a "traditional" 2 burner camp stove.

dubz - I have 203k on my 04 Dakota with the 3.7 and just had the plugs replaced for the second time & got a new field coil for the #4 cylinder.
It's been up and down Half Moon Ridge a boatload of times (as have a few outbacks) and been used to haul my tractor on a tandem axle trailer (about 3 tons)

Awesome news. I read a lot of good about that engine. This one has the tow package on it as well. Here is what the listing said," equipped with 4 wheel drive, 6 cylinder engine and automatic transmission. It also features power windows, locks and mirrors, tinted glass, AM/FM/CD Stereo, tow package, alloy wheels, roof rack, cruise control, tilt steering, air conditioning and much more!"

Haven't been on the forum much in the past week! Just got back about 3am this morning from a week long vacation! Took the kids to Disney world and we had a freaking fantastic time. Of course it was mostly for the kiddos but we had such a good time. Flew out and everything went real well. Took my Farmer, reworked 14 and my sykco 311. The 14 got worked a lot. Before I left I remodeled it for slim pocket carry. Tight wrapped and waxed cord handle, did more edge work, polished the spine and acid etched it.

One day going into magic kingdom I had security stop and ask about my farmer peaking out of my watch pocket. I made no attempt to hide it as I had it attached via lanyard and an s biner to a belt loop. the conversation went like this. "Is that a knife in your pocket?" ... "Yah, it's my swiss army knife." "OK it looks like a small one no worries!!!!" Lol gave me a bit of a smile how nice he was about it all.

Anyways glad to be back in the snark thread. Hope y'all are doing well!
