Howdy, Folks. I got a fun piece of kit yesterday from my folks.

Its a Duluth Pack Co. insulated growler pack.

This thing is awesome. I think I'm going to try my hand at making a paracord grab handle for it.

LOL! Love that setup!

Cbear - it's an oven originally designed to use on a "traditional" 2 burner camp stove.
that is pretty sweet. I've never heard of such a thing but it is pretty awesome. And there are lots of things I've never heard about.

So me fitting in one wouldn't be a problem?
My buddy who is 6'3" and weighs in at 375 climbed into the back seat. It wasn't the most comfortable ride for him back there but he did fit... ish.

Thanks man. Where are you going?
Going down to Dubz hiking grounds. Down by Garden of the Gods in southern Illinois. Got a cabin for 4 days that I'm taking Matt, Beth, and Melissa to.

So I got up today and decided to make a BBQ sauce with the left over pan drippings from roasting a ham yesterday

I have an old Kabar hawkbill/pruner folder, with box and paper, it looks like the one pictured here...

. Is there an trade value here? Not much on ebay except a few sold for around $50.

I don't think you are supposed to ask those sorts of questions without a dealer membership....in any subforum on BFC.

I could be wrong, but I seem to recall that asking for values places the subject matter inside the seller arena

Too much bourbon (is there such a thing?). I suspect I'll have a headache tomorrow.

Cook yourself a large flank steak, pan-fried in salted butter. Eat that, put on a pair of wet socks and go to sleep.

That's a little tid-bit from Nick Offerman.

Gold. Unfortunately I did that last night. Gotta come up with a new game plan.

Conversely, just enough beer...maintaining the little buzz will be the hard part.

Made a 'hawk target yesterday....put some legs on it today and had a little practice session:

That was throwing both at the same time, one in each hand. Had a little trouble getting the Kangee to stick....the blade is substantially thicker than the American (made in China, LOL). Hit the edge into the target numerous times, but just couldn't stick it. The pick end sticks pretty good, though....just beats up the target. Practiced from about 15 ft. and ~30 ft......I'm gonna kill it at the next Gathering. Planning on putting a little shelf there to hold an archery target for my gurlz.

I was just looking up knife carry laws in neighboring states (I live within walking distance of one, 15 min drive to the other) and I came across this for my own state of NH:
Very satisfying to put whatever the hell I want in my pocket or on my belt and not worry about it. Even (gasp) be proud of it. Not that I've worked my way up to EDC'ing the 9. Yet.

i thought they still had a restriction on ballistic knives, and something else, but switchblades (d/a) are a-okay...

no size limits, no scary issues. all good.

Nice target there GSOM. Shovel. That's all I'm saying.
I concur.

Thank you. But Zathras can not have any more nice things. The CRKT was on the QT as it was. It's a really nice 'hawk. You must be diggin' that Chogan, trade. Imma hafta thin the edge a little on the Kangee to make it better for throwing, but even if I didn't it'd still be a hell of an axe. They totally nailed that one, IMO. One of my throws from ~30 ft. stuck handle up with the pick end. That was purdy kewl.
