Just kidding of course... that kinda stuff is for the big names who've already made it, and guys who just plain have more cash than sense. I was just surprised it was right out on the floor, not locked-down or anything. Usually custom shop stuff is at least chained to the wall, if not behind glass.
It really was a darn cool store... they had a great selection from beginner to pro instruments and their prices looked very reasonable to me. Even the "entry level" axes they carry are from brands with good reputations. I also noticed CF Martin is selling a line of their basic designs now, except manufactured in Mexico so they cost about half what a "real" USA Martin does... I picked on a couple and they feel and sound very nice. Reckon I'ma have to sell a couple extra knives this year...
