Foggy headed this morning. Still feel a bit buzzed. I think there might be a little bit of blood in my alcohol level.

Woke up to take Neko outside, everyone else is still asleep. Even the kids. Surprised is me, they must have played hard last night. Normally they up by now. Im not complaining.

Hmmm. Trying to decide if i wanna order one of those tactical stockings. Black friday special still going for 12.95. Spent more than i planned already though. New smart TV for the wife (shhh its a secret), TV stand for smart TV, another PD35, this one for the wife (another secret), new strop, Becker full size Micarta for my BK4, Google chrome cast for the wife as well, kids toys/games..... Its not a good idea to order stuff while drinking LOL

Smart TV is 46", same size as the TV in the living room. But its not a smart TV. Wife has been talking about wanting one for the bedroom. We had a 32" LED in the bedroom but we put that in the kids room.

Kids have been sharing a room.... They dont have to, we have 3 bedrooms. Kids dont like sleeping in their own rooms. Finally got my son to the point he doesnt sleep in our room but he still doesnt like sleeping in a room by himself... They asked to sleep in the same room and wanted bunk beds. So a couple months ago we got them bunk beds and got rid of their separate beds. Ended up turning the 3rd room into the toy/play room.

Now, where is that bacon. Need food. Not from Thanksgiving dinner. I have ate more than my share of thanksgiving food the last couple days. Bacon sounds great.

Pee on lawn - check.
Teach her to shoot - not gonna happen. Mom's pretty much legally blind and isn't strong enough to handle the recoil on anything bigger than a .22
I've been trying to get her to move back to Dallas and stay with me and my family but she's not ready. Also been trying to convince her to get a big dog but she doesn't want one.

Well, mountain lions are solitary and territorial, so get her a mountain lion. :D

Now yall got me thinking about a movie i seen years ago... Cant think of the name though. But a man, i think he may of been a cop, had a pet mountain lion.

Its going to drive me crazy till i figure it out. I think the cat ended up getting shot... Hmmm. Time to hit up google.

I really like the mountain lion idea. I understand they are easily trained with a can of hairspray and a Bic lighter.

Off to the Homestead Fair, northwest of Waco. Crafts, food, gardening, farming, blacksmithing, beekeeping, and all sorts of old-timey fun.

Got our first snow of the year last night here in Seattle. I made the mistake of turning on the local news and they seemed to be so excited and wound up over 2 inches of snow I bet they would explode if we got 6 inches.

Dunno when this turned into the fat guy thread, but I'll play, too... When we started cutting back on carbs a few weeks ago I was somewhere well north of 250#. Not sure where I'm at now (no scale in the house) but all my pants are about falling off and people keep telling me I look a lot less pregnant  :p

She went with me and picked it out, haha. Thought what the hell, she might as well get one she likes, and not one I'd pick out for her.

I agree completely. I'm a big fan of gift cards. Especially when it comes to things like knives, guns and instruments, it's best to let the recipient pick them out unless they already told you exactly what they want.

Ang and I were at a cool lil ol' music store nearby last week and a gorgeous custom Gibson banjo caught her eye - pearl inlays all over it, all metal parts gold-plated, the whole nine yards. She was about to reach for it when I pointed out the price tag... $12,000. I've never seen her eyes get that big, or seen her back away from something so gingerly. :D

Now the good news is, that made the $250 practice amp I was eyeballing seem a lot more affordable ;)

Exactly. You hypnotize them with the lighter while you give them a bouffant with the hairspray. Nobody will mess with your mom.
*awesome*.

Get her the coach gun and a mountain lion. That word would spread fast.

Will do! :D
I generally shy away from talking bad about law enforcement officers but I gotta tell this one.
About a year and a half ago one of my mom's neighbors called the local police to report a rabid skunk loose in their backyard. They dispatch the only officer on duty at 5 pm middle of the week. Officer arrives and approaches the critter in question and begins a spray and pray campaign the likes of which have never been seen before.
The shooting begins at 5:20 pm three houses down from my mom's place. Mom hears gun fire and promptly calls my brother to come see what's happening. My brother Ed shows up at around 5:40 and hears small arms fire coming from the back of the property. He edges around to see and there's the police trying to shoot this skunk with her 9mm Glock and not having much, or any, success. She's already gone through 2 full magazines and is on her 3rd and final mag. So we're guessing close to 40 rounds expended thus far.
The poor skunk appears to have been hit as it is barely moving but not dead yet. My brother yells over and asks if she needs any help. She says no "I think I got him". Well, about that time the skunk makes a break for it and runs right at my brother. He's scared to death that he's going to be a victim of friendly fire so he runs around the house to get clear of the line of fire. The skunk stops about 6 feet from the front of Ed's pick up truck, which he left running with the a/c on.
The coup de grace was fired from less than 15 feet away and, of course, hits the skunk right in the stink bag! All that skunk smell gets pulled into the a/c and Ed's truck takes a direct hit inside and out.
So 40 plus rounds fired and the critter goes down but takes the '99 GMC Sierra with it. Ed says he can still smell that smell on hot summer days if he leaves his windows rolled up.

So maybe mom and the citizens of Caddo Mills Texas would be better off if she got a scatter gun for Christmas.

Cripes. Maybe they should issue a bolt-action .22 rifle to officers for this purpose...

$12,000, ouch. The banjo ukes are pretty cool too. I may surprise Kathy with one down the road.

Late to the party again.
Does anyone know of a dealer that still has those Becker/Esee kitchen knives? If so, please PM me. I already have two sets, but my daughter fell in love with mine... My son has one of my sets. She ain't getting mine.

Saw some on ePrey, but they were high priced. It just may be too late, but I figured it was worth a shot asking here.

Thanks,
Doc
