The idiot's guide to the AR-15 rifle (or an idiot building one)

My Stag 2TL with MOE gear. Not a ton of options for a true lefty AR wise but I love this one. All the furniture is MOE minus the Troy rails on the samson free float. the pop up rear is a ARMS. I just sold my 552 and I’m on the hunt for a new aimpoint.

Nice lefty Stag there, ec9. How do you like the the AFG? Seems like they usually go on longer rifles, but I'm a bit lanky and I can feel cramped with my carbine. I'm thinking the AFG might help the ergos. Is it worth it or at this point in time I might just be deciding what color bows to put in my Barbie for Men's hair.

I have a fairly long reach. I like it more than a pistol grip type set up. I find it pretty comfortable when sitting at a bench. I have a troy pistol grip in my bag but it never gets put on. Something about the angle makes me like it a lot. For whatever reason It makes it feel more agile.
