The Kershaw Scallion, definitely a sleeper hit!

btw, does anyone know how to disassemble the Kershaw Leek?

I can't seem to undo the blade pivot.

Inspira,

Do you have a torx bit set? Size T8 fits the pivot and I think a T6 fits the handle. I usually remove the pocket clip first even though it is not really neccessary. I tear mine down every month to relube and clean out the torsion spring chamber. The tightness of the blade pivot screw will also determine the opening speed and blade lockup.

Well on mine. i undid everything, but the blade pivot screw just keeps spinning. It doesn't undo.

Ok, just took mine down. What is probably happening is that the pivot screw is catching the threads in the pivot pin and the pin is rotating with the screw instead of allowing the screw to unscrew.
Try removing the pocket clip and holding the smooth end of the pivot pin while removing the pivot screw. If you can not apply enough pressure to hold the pivot pin in place try pushing down on the pivot screw when it is out as far as you can get it. With the pocket clip removed this should allow the pivot pin to move out of the knife enough to get a grip on it so you can remove the pivot screw.
Since mine is now apart I may as well clean and lube it!
Will be standing by while cleaning and re-assembling if you need more advice.

As most of you here are aware, i'm currently on a Spyderco kick....
Same here. I'm a big Spyderco fan and have quite a few "thumb-hole" knives that I use for EDC. I do like the Kershaw Scallion, though. Its the only non-Spyderco that can edge a Spyderco out of my pocket for EDC use with any sort of regularity. :D
