BENCHMADE 710 M2 (when they were a lot cheaper!)
1982 REMINGTON BULLET KNIFE

WHAT'S YOUR REGRET?

My regret is becoming a knife nut only within the past year. So many knives I missed out on, feelsbadman. ie The Benchmade Skirmish, but luckily(by checking the exchange daily for 2 months straight) I found one, a limited edition at that.

But yeah, because of only getting into knives so recently, I realize daily how many knives I have missed out on, another example: The BM 42(When they were affordable lol).

MORE.

In the years between college and marriage, in the 70's, I wish I'd bought more knives instead of just guns.

I wish I was around for the Rat Daddy LE. That's pretty much my grail but I don't even think they exist in the wild anymore and even if one did pop up for the price I could buy something else more valuable.

Man if I could only own all the swamp rats that have come out over the years and nothing else I'd be a happy camper.

Ain't that the truth. Missed out on a lot of good oldies.

I caught up though since getting on here ;)

My biggest regret is selling a few I shouldn't have

+1
Totally agree with this. I've sold quite a few (out of being broke and having bills to pay) that I would love to still have. Fehrman Final Judgment, old bead-blasted Blackjack AWAC, Becker BK1, Cas/Hanwei Banshee, customized CS War Hammer...to name a few. Damn it.:grumpy:

feel the same way about the buck/strider knife...could have had that thing for 30 bucks but didn't do it...kicking myself ever since.

Sooo many to choose from.

The one that comes to mind in the recent past is a used M6 with dwayne pucket leather sheath that scrappy sold back in November. It was such a screamin deal. I thought about it. I have had an M6 and let it go. I always miss it. I was low on cash. Ho hum, ho hum. Then it dawned on me, just buy it! If you don't pick it up you'll kick yourself later. So I went to buy it. It was gone.

Kick, kick, regret, regret.

I would have liked to get my hands on one of those Hinderer xm-18's when they were around. They fit a lot of the criteria I go for in a folder.

While we are lamenting the past I had a ESEE HEST fixed blade that I lost when dumped the boat white water rafting downunder. I still miss that one.

Yeah, tell me about it. This is a big one. The stupid price increases mean that I likely won't be able to own one unless something lucky happens.

Or those Arc-Angel seconds for $90-something. Apparently, they were seconds due to etch/stamp problems, and worked fine.

Or used Spyderflies. I'd see 'em go for $50 back in the day.

I don't really mind missing out on all the other knives, but balisongs are far and few between.

When I just joined the forums, I had the chance to buy a NIB regular manix for $100. I hesitated to buy online. Needless to say, I don't have one until now.
