The Knife Store?

Have any of you forum members every bought anything from this company? I ordered a knife from them almost two weeks ago and got only the original order confirmation e-mail, nothing since. I've called them about thirty times and have gotten a hold of a person there only once, most of the time the phone just rings with no answer. I've also sent three e-mails which have got no response either.

The woman I talked to said the order was processing and it wasn't backordered, that was a week ago! :confused: If anyone else has had any experience with this company let me know how it turned out for you. I'm a little worried about having my credit card info in the hands of a company I can't get a hold of anyone at! :eek:

Thanks for the reply and the link, I've already sent them a e-mail to cancel the order and will contact the credit card.

:mad: The Knifestore sucks. Also I received a confirmation email, nothing else. One whole week later... nothing. They didn't answer my repeated phone calls and ignored 3 emails. Unbelievably bad service. I emailed them to cancel my order and rescinded all authorizations on my card. Never again with those losers! I'll stick to KnivesPlus.com or NewGraham.com for reliability. Unfortunately neither carries the Fallkniven A1 & A2s I was ordering. Good luck. :grumpy:

I searched about TheKnifeStore.com after I made a purchase... grr, that is all I need to say. HORRIBLE customer service. They don't follow up one any emails.

Wonder if it is ran by some guy who goes to shows and haggles for the lowest prices and only ships what hes got..

Bah, most unhappy.. At least it wasen't a gift I was ordering.
 
I used them once. Ended up canceling the order as well. They did respond to my e-mail to cancel the order about 30 days later.

Wish I'd researched them before I placed my order in December. Ordered on the 18th, they charged my card on the 24th, I asked for a status on the 29th, they sent the USPS an intent to ship on the 30th, they gave me the tracking # on the 31st...and they still haven't shipped the order! And of course they don't answer the phones.
I sent them an email requesting that they either fix this ASAP or refund my card. Sounds like I'm going to have to call my bank and have them reverse the charge.
Serious thumbs down on these guys.
 
You hit it right on the head sir....IMHO that is their BIG problem...they dont have in stock what they advertise OFTEN.

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has no record on these guys. I know discussing them on here will make a impact in our little part of the world, but we really should follow these up with complaints to the BBB.
