The Laser Thread

I've been playing with the new Xtool S1 and learning the programing, I'm no computer whiz so it's going slow but I'm pretty comfortable with running it now. just a matter of dialing the settings for different materials. it took two Walmart tumblers of practice engraving but I think I finally have these dialed in.
here's one I did for my younger brother for a Christmas present, I think he'll like this he's a history teacher and a big civil war buff.

 
I also got a nice picture of an Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake up by my mailbox the other day, I used the program to remove the background and engraved him on a piece of wood. It came out pretty good. IMG_3602.jpegIMG_3608.jpeg
