I've acquired and sold a frag handle, a PJ, and a thumbstud. I still have a facet and a morph usamadeblades custom. I even had two ZT 0900s for a bit. It's a great size blade!Ah yes, ESV is another one for me. I resist every time I see one listed. I’ve owned at least 4 and have to keep telling myself they’re not for me.
I certainly have. I know I've sold and then reacquired a Kumu and a Servo. I've also had an "I can't quit you" relationship with Les's smaller knives. I've had at least 8 ESVs pass through my hands the last couple of years. And I purchased a G10 ESR a few months back after having my sold my original one. Sometimes it does help you understand how much you enjoy a piece by first letting it go, allowing some time to pass, and then seeing how strong the desire to have it truly was.Do you have a knife that you’ve bought and sold multiple times? I have more than a few across multiple brands that I’ve bought and then sold and then bought again (and then sold again and bought again) for one reason or another; sales maybe to fund another purchase, maybe because I thought I’d never carry it, maybe because I didn’t think I liked it as much as a similar knife.
Les’ button lock VECP is that way for me. I had a PJ to just try out and decided I needed more texture on the scales. Sold and got a morph a while later. Liked it but not as much as my framelock morph. Sold. Time passes and got a Damascus DLC morph. Decided to stop collecting folders and knew I’d never carry it. Sold. More time passes. Tried out a framelock Talos and compare it to my framelock VECP and decide I need a button lock for comparison as well. So here we are. The wheel in the sky keeps on turning.

Been watching that one and I remember the big laugh I got at the initial price hahaha. There’s a really cool MK3 sweep with Damascus blade on……….. well I can’t say but it’s in like new condition and is reasonable in price. Someone go buy it before I have to.
Just for shits and giggles what was the original asking?Been watching that one and I remember the big laugh I got at the initial price hahaha.
At least $1,025, that's what I remember seeing.Just for shits and giggles what was the original asking?
That’s almost as funny as the protech Rockeye listed here for $825 the other week.At least $1,025, that's what I remember seeing.
It’s come down significantly then. Must’ve realized he was on planet Earth and not MarsAt least $1,025, that's what I remember seeing.

I'm not above a guy making a profit, and Julie will list knives for whatever the consigner wants, but sometimes I see one being flipped for something crazy and I watch it just because it's so satisfying to watch the price drop over the months. It’s come down significantly then. Yea you really start to appreciate LG once you get under the hood!
You know you're a true enthusiast when maintenance is a joy rather than a chore. I find it satisfying to disassemble, clean, and lubricate a knife. I don't feel that way about working on my car, for instance, but I know there are car guys who love to tinker and I respect the heck out of that. It's part of the fun of getting to know and optimize your piece. Love it!
