The Les George Knives Thread

What size are the bearings? I was just about to take mine apart also to get Skiffs on order. My PJ one is also a little off center. Otherwise it’s a great knife.

1/4 x 1/16 which is what they list for the VECP (flipper). I measured the pivot at 0.249” and the cutout for the bearings at 0.425” to confirm against the ID, OD specs for the Skiffs.

That diamond milling looks so nice.
Just grabbed an MK3 off the exchange as my second LG. I think the addiction has started.
Loving the diamond texture. Looks great but also provides a good grip.

First impressions are good. Love the handle, feels excellent in the hand. The blade is mean looking and looks to be very utilitarian. The action seems to be exactly like the vecp flippers. It did take a few times to figure out finger placement as to not put pressure on the lockbar when opening. As I’ve heard, the jimping on the flipper tab is pretty aggressive. Not really a problem for me though as I prefer to flip with my thumb anyway. Love the slightly longer blade and how compact the knife is when closed. Fits in the pocket like a champ.

Overall, just pumped to have a new model from Les especially with a new blade shape.

All hail 👑 George!!

I always wondered if he made a Damascus ESV, what's the story on that one? 🤤
This is an oldie! A Custom ESR from 2014 BladeShow. Nichols stainless San Mai w/ a Elmax core I believe.

There are also some custom Mini Harpy’s w/ damascus blades as well but no production ESVs with damascus to my knowledge.
