The Les George Knives Thread

Are you guys picking these up in the secondary, or are you finding them in stock? I’ve found a few at online retailers, but would like to find a VECP first. Most recent addition was a KnifeArt exclusive large Sebenza. It’s a great knife, but for an “exclusive” was exceedingly easy to acquire new.

He did a batch of vecps not long ago. Seems like he’s focused on the talos and myna right now but you never now. He’ll usually tease what he’s working on at instagram. Drops go quick in under a minute usually. Easiest way is on the secondary here or join the les George knife sales fb group.

I just landed a V1 Cerberus so I thought I'd post a comparison shot for those interested. Version 2 (2015) is on the left, and Version 1 (2010) is on the right. There are far more differences between the two than I expected. The blade steel, grind, deployment options, lockbar insert, lockbar cutout, pivot, backspacer, and clip pattern all vary between them. It’s clear that Les and Allen did things quite a bit differently the second time around. I prefer the Morph scales of the V2, but the V1 has a lot of old school charm. It predates even the V1 VECP, so while it's technically considered a mid-tech, a significant amount of hand work went into it during those early days.

Thank you very much for the information! As I am not on any social media platforms, it would appear that I will need to get lucky, or win a spot in an Oz lotto first. Of the two, it looks like luck will be my best chance! Haha
