The Les George Knives Thread

I don't have a shot of the other side, but I'll grab one when I get back home later this week (headed out this morning and decided to grab a couple of big Spydies for the trip - K2 and Bodacious...OT, but that Bodacious is putting a lot of knives later in the rotation since I got it). I'd be interested to know which version the VECP is for sure.
I'm sure some more knowledgeable folks will chime in, but between the updated thumbstuds and the V1 style handle cutout it would seem to be somewhere in between the V1 and V3. My V1 and V3 are pictured above for reference numbers 1&2 from the top in both photos. I swapped the clip for a lynch on my V3 to spice it up 😉

More than likely a its a v2. Slight chance a v1 but most v1s have a black pivot screw and a larger lockbar relief.

Something I've been wondering for a bit now...do the Morph milled scales start life as PJ scales and then have additional material removed? If so, is there a noticeable weight difference between the two?

No scale nearby........... but the Morph IS lighter. Minor to me, but significance is in the pocket of the beholder though I suppose. Maybe someone will chime in with a digital readout.

If that V1.0 should ever happen to get burdensome..................... 🤪. Miracles do happen! ;)
Yeah the size on the 1.0 looks way more my style than the newer one. I've got the new version and it fits my hand...but if my hands were any bigger it would feel small. Maybe it was Les' attempt to diversify his line-up?

So there I was just hanging out flicking my Woody!View attachment 2809510
I gotta say, this pattern is my favorite and the servo is a tactile delight!

I had no idea just how good the Servo was until I grabbed one on the exchange. Stellar knife in every way.

The servo really is one of those under the radar Rockstar LGs, the action on mine is sublime, it has an amazing hydraulic drop shut similar to the Holt haptic I had.

Because of the 0640, the Bodacious, the servo, the K2, and I'm sure more, I'm pretty sure we share a common ancestry 😁🤣😆😍 any chance you like beer and burgers? 😜

I think you're right - and I'll take beer and burgers ANY time. ;)

Your posts have cost me a hell of a lot of money, though. lol That Bodacious is going to cost me a lot more once Lynch gets some more skinny Ti Samurai scales back in stock.

Agreed. I almost got bit the first time I closed the Servo - wasn't expecting it to drop like a guillotine. It's the smoothest framelock flipper I've ever handled.

I'll join in on the woody Servo party. Phenomenal knife. I will say though, my woody pattern has a decent burr surrounding pretty much all of the engraving that makes it quite rough in and out of the pocket. I'm sure it will wear down some with more carry and use.

Also got my monster disk in for the MK3 and it is a great upgrade. I've had no issues with it snagging/unintentionally waving in and out of my pocket, and it looks great too.

I dig the RSD scales I swapped onto mine, they are the PJ stonewash ones

It is shocking that there are still Damascus Servos available. The raindrop patterns on that run are exceptional.
