The Les George Knives Thread

I don't have much to add but to say that my button lock VECP operates smoothly and drops shut. I've never disassembled mine, but I did give it a little squirt on the circumference of the button with a needle applicator and Slip 2000 EWL when it was slightly recalcitrant, and it's been great since.

For those of you that know the Les George knives well, I really don't like the non-deep carry clip on the Myna Morph, that said, do you know if the clip that Lynch sells, will work for that specific knife? Its not listed, and the screw holes look slightly different, they do say it fits the VECP, but I don't know enough to know the the differences.

Thanks!

I don’t know but the hole pattern is the same as benchmade and Emerson if that helps.

Check out the MXG three screw deep carry. I am Lynch fan but have been using them side by side, the MXG is considerably better than the Lynch two hole deep carry. Way more solid and doesn't move side to side in your palm. 0640 knives but same screw patterns as LG's as far as I know.

this post ain't gonna be popular...but im not overly impressed. (edit part...wasnt 580 bucks, my memory was off...was) 535 bucks later and I feel the spartan Taiwan made import for 100 and change is good enough of a George designed knife.....

the spartan is a better overall size blade and handle, to me.^

this titanium George is nice enough, but for the super high price....the spartan import is a good enough a knife with a similar look.

okay go ahead and hammer away at my post.......

Why would anyone talk bad about your post ? I agree. I’ve had many knives, many les George knives.. I sold them because I never found myself using them too often. The import with g10 still has excellent steel, quality materials.. put together by trustworthy folks. For a dedicated user - green one all day. ( bonus points because it looks like a hybrid of a Talos and VECP ).

Funny, I decided to sell my Talos because I have this Cold Steel Bush Ranger that is about the same size, felt better in the hand (to me) and was under 100 bucks on super duper sale…

I appreciate and respect ya opinion. I’ve always hated when fanboys can’t take or accept any complaints/flaws about there knife god.

And I actually agree with you. I’m not a fan of the v2 Talos either. Slightly small for my hand and too similar to the vecp which I absolutely love. Now the original Talos is a whole other story. 3.75 blade and is excellent in my hand.

I always liked my zt 0909 which is a 3.75 / 3.8 blade size. its a great size. think id like an original talos.

You, the true faithful, will appreciate the previously undisclosed factoid that when I was in college I drove a truck and worked in a warehouse for a business named...

...wait for it...

...King George.
