The Les George Knives Thread

As requested buddy, and you owe me. I'm in the dog house, the wife caught me and is pissed that when she asked me for a pocket knife for her purse that she will never use, I gave her a rat 2 instead of one of the "pretty" ones she saw displayed just now. 😂🤣😆 Just messing with ya! Oh and toes as promised View attachment 2943630
That eagle 🦅 want to fly away, let him loose to me !

You guys need to stop pushing the MK3...my resistance is only so strong.

It's not really the pattern I'd normally gravitate toward, but the superlatives are wearing me down.

I know how you take your time and carefully consider a purchase but the fact that you’re admitting you’re thinking about it means its only a matter of time. Just do it, you’ll wish you have done it years ago. It’s a great knife in so many ways! I can list em all out if you need me to. 😉

Generally speaking, I'd probably choose a Myna before the MK3, as it looks like a more useful blade.

I'm not so much one to go for the "weapon" look...a ton of damage can be done with a sheepsfoot if one were so inclined.

Eventually I'll probably talk myself into another...for now the button lock is not going anywhere, but not sure which one is gonna grab me by the nads.

I do want to support his work though, as over the years I've been close with a number of EOD guys, on the LE side as well as military...and have worked with them on capers.

Well I completely agree, the myna is extremely useful and great in the hand. I wasn’t a fan of reverse tanto till I got the myna and realized how useful of a blade design it is.

And your right about the mk3 as well. Would probably have to be classified as a weapon by design. But it’s an amazing knife, and what I love the most about it is how well it carries in the pocket for a larger knife. And probably because of the larger blade it has the best action of probably any knife on washers. Better than a lot of knives on bearings.

But the only way is having both eventually. 😉
