  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

The Les George Knives Thread

I do want to support his work though, as over the years I've been close with a number of EOD guys, on the LE side as well as military...and have worked with them on capers.

Well it’s hard to find a better guy to support than Les. He’s a class act.

Yeah...probably not happening. Though if you're in the neighborhood, make sure you have both with you so I can see for myself.

I’d imagine that would be a good time playing with knives, sipping some fine scotch and smoking some stogies while listening to some great Blues stories.

Bourbon is also available, along with lager and IPA. Foofoo drinks are not allowed.

My cigars are pretty much dried out from lack of attention. (As in, I rarely dabble these days.)

Loved the size and shape of the Myna, but after owning a Talos, VECP, Defiant 7 Servo, and MK3, the Myna kind of felt like any old frame lock flipper. The rest were/are distinctly Les George.

I couldn’t disagree more, love the myna. And like the myna, personally I’d love to see Les break out his box more and do some different blade shapes for the vecp or talos.

Speaking of which, my wife is calling me to pour something into a Glencairn glass. I think she made something with vodka for herself.

BRB...

I would love to see a midtech version of the Sicario! That thing would sell like hotcakes!

I fall more on the Irish side, give me some red breast 10 or 12 and I'm a real happy camper!
My wife drinks the Irish...primarily Jameson but we've had others here as well.

ETA: Years ago, when I was in my 20's, I won an award from Paddy Irish Whiskey for a poem in the Irish tradition I submitted to a contest they held.
