The Les George Knives Thread

That's the same size as the model 36? For some reason it looked closer to a K frame to me. I had a 36 and 15 at one time.

I qualified with both quarterly for years. Had to. Now my only revolver is a 642 since I sold my 686+ to my neighbor.
You are very close Blues. It’s Charter Arms revolver called “Off Duty “ , it’s a first generation when Charter Arms were on top of their game, made in Stratford, Connecticut consider reliable snub where fit and finish is not like on Undercover model. But from my experience, it’s a very nice looker and with the right ammo “ Hornady 90gr light «unbelievably accurate and with minor recoil 👍

I have new grips from S&W coming in tomorrow for my 642. They're hardish rubber with an enclosed back strap. Sort of like the VZ grips for the new AFR UC revolvers, but made with material meant to dampen recoil.

I currently carry the Hogue G10 piranhas with diamond pattern on the 642

Nice one, I like the hammer is internal . It’s only double action but who needs a single when safety and reliability is the first concern.

You won't regret a 642 or 442. Great in pants pocket, jacket pocket or AIWB which is how I usually carry. Only around home though. I normally carry a Glock 26 outside of home environs.

Yea, definitely want as small as possible for that reason.
