Since it’s VECP week, I feel compelled to share this one. Apologies to those who follow the George Knives FB page and have already seen it.
As someone who appreciates knives with lineage, this one holds a special place in my collection: Les's very first VECP. Built in May 2011, this hand-ground prototype sports a Chad Nichols Blackout Damascus blade and marks the early days of Les stepping into the midtech world. What began as a way for him to offer a more accessible model alongside his customs went on to become his most popular design, and one of the benchmark American hard-use folders.

You can see some of the tooling marks on the lockbar where Les was trying to get it dialed in.

The red backspacer is a neat touch.
