I gotta say fellas I’m pretty impressed with the xcom. It’s a hell of a knife for less than $30. I guess I got lucky but mine is nearly perfectly centered. Blade is tight with no blade play. While the scales are basically plastic they’re pretty grippy. I like the deep carry clip and the action is surprisingly smooth. For the price there’s no reason not to have one.

And for someone on the fence regarding the mk3 (ahem… Blues ), it’s a great way to get a feel for one. It is slightly smaller in blade and handle length.

I replaced a couple junction boxes for the canless LEDs in my kitchen today and did some other random projects.

I agree tanto prices have been crazy, and I expect them to stay that way. I’m gonna keep carrying this one despite the “replacement cost”
