The Les George Knives Thread

Managed to run into BladeShow for 40 minutes. Enough time to see an empty LG table. Lol. Did grab a Servo though. Slick action won me over. I’ll get a Valmara at some point too. Very comfy. Also bought a Spydie Bug Abalone for my off-duty supervisor.

Handled what I could (I definitely need a Demko USA in the future; also checked out some Hawk, Fox, Pro-Tech, some custom fixies) as I moved quickly through and back to work.

Yeah bud, me too. Eye catching. And the action on this particular one was sublime.

It was busy but pretty easy to move about. Some jostling here and there. Definitely a lot of people tho. But not the Miami Club at 0200 packed.

I was hoping it would be a success. Was wondering if the economy would cause a lighter turnout.

D7 bubbas, 😂! Has anyone recommended putting some skiffs on that new servo yet? They’re sooo smooth!!!😉😂

I tried twice to order skiffs for my first run servo with the small pivot, and both times they didn't fit. I am just sticking with the stock ones as it is excellent as is. Luckily I was able to fit one set of skiffs into a Gavko custom 😁

Stunning MK3, love those scales!!!! I agree with you, my MK3 might be the best action I’ve ever experienced across the board, it’s 100% in the top 5 without question. I still can’t believe the action every time I get it out.

Thank ya sir! This was a grail of mine and took a long time to find. He’s done plenty of the diamond pattern but most are dlc coated. He’s only ever done one batch of the stonewashed.

All of his knives are extremely smooth but the MK3 is above and beyond. I suspect it’s because of the bigger heavier blade.

He’s definitely been on a hot streak. My first bladeshow in Dallas ’23 i was still a newb and had no idea about em but remember he had some vecp Damascus ones that are very rare grails now. His table still had some knives into the final day.

Shortly after that show I got my first LG, a pj esv. By the time I went to Atlanta that same year I had a 3 LGs and was there specifically get a button lock. Again passed on some sweet dammy ones and the morph and just bought a pj. Looking back I was such an idiot. He may have ended up selling out that show but I know he had some knives on the last day.

It was ‘24 Dallas that everything changed. I think the button lock got him a lot of attention and then he was dropping the Talos protos. I decided to go last minute to see if I could get one. Was third in line for ga. When I got there he had jusa few mk3s left. He got absolutely bum rushed by the early birds and had a look of bewilderment on his face like wtf just happened ! 😂.

I think he’s sold out on the first day ever since! Funny how quickly things can change.
