The Les George Knives Thread

I pretty much like 'em all. I don't have any "sweep" scales yet. Just two morphs and one smooth titanium. I guess I'll go for the sweep next time I find a blade profile that doesn't match what I already have.

Some of the Damascus is really outstanding, but as a rule I don't go looking for it these days. In years past I picked up a number of customs with it.

There is/was a Damascus/“Sweep” MK3 for sale on the FB Sales page. I almost bought it but I’ve got to slow down some. And I may be one of the few that doesn’t prefer Damascus. Beautiful knife though.
Once upon a time I had a Sweep Dama mk3 and sold it when I started feeling like a hoarder when so many were looking for them. I still have a Dama mefp mk3 though but I do miss the sweep pattern.

I likely would have kept the MEFP version too. To me, a more interesting variant.

How’s the bike treating you? Rainy weekend and Easter so I didn’t get my riding fix in. My wife says I become a prick when I don’t ride. She’s right.

lol same here rode it home and the weather went to hell! When I was younger it wouldn’t have phased me, but I will wait till it’s enjoyable now!

Definitely. I don’t mind the rain, it’s the animals and piss-poor drivers out in Hill Country that makes me wait. I swear the deer here are dumber than anywhere else I have lived. And the drivers think a center-line is just a recommendation, especially in curves or sweepers and less than perfect conditions.

Years ago I only had one vehicle for a while and the wife drove it to work so I rode through every weather condition imaginable for over a year in Ohio. Yeah it was rough lol so I’ve got that crap behind me now!

they make a s model. slim blade. it slices well

I don't have a slim version yet...though the 20.5 is only 1/8" stock and pretty slicey.

And the others I have came well sharpened by John and company.

I never should have scrolled this thread. I never should have looked this up. I shouldn't have pulled out my wallet. I shouldn't have input card info.

But I did.

I fully blame the two of you.
