The Les George Knives Thread

If I’m not working I’m in birks. Send me ya size, I’ll find ya a pair today!
Lol, I'm still a flip flop guy, haven't reached birk status yet. My wife gives a hard time because of the amount of time I spend in flip flops during the warmer months when I'm not working!

Today was rough lol. My main client that I do work for has over 600 doors rental properties both apartments and houses. One of his goofy apartment turn guys was having electrical issues in an apartment he was turning. So he thought it was a good idea to turn a 200 amp main that is probably at least 60 years old that powers 8 apartments. Guess what it wouldn't reset 😕. I'm a licensed HVAC guy but I do electrical as well. I had to go up the side of the building and cut the entrance cable to that breaker so I could replace it then split bolt it back together. It's already dark out so I didn't get a picture outside. Yes I did it hot so this is my high voltage carry today haha. That's the main I replaced top right. Edited to add picture outsideIMG_20240215_183909879.jpgIMG_20240215_185128964.jpgIMG_20240215_185606056.jpg

My carry of choice from Les. I originally bought a sweep VECP a couple years ago and struggled with the action. Sold it and a few months later gave this previously loved and broken-in VECP a try. I was hooked and it became my (mostly) daily carry for over a year. The stonewash hides most everything and while it needs a sharpening, I still love it. Only recently replaced by the Servo, though it still makes its way back into the pocket.

Day 5: "From Another" Friday
This is the ZT0909, which is one of three folder models Zero Tolerance licensed from Les. It's a shame they're all currently out of production, because all three are great knives. I had Suingab make a custom set of marble carbon fiber scales for this one specifically modeled after the Wilson Combat Talos.

0909=Talos
0900=Mini Harpy
