I got to agree with you, I will never understand why the Talos is less popular. That knife contours to a hand even better than the vecp IMO. What’s even better is the OG Talos, same styling as this but larger. You can never go wrong with a morph.

I know some of ya'll don't do the Book of Faces, so I figure I'd share this here as it's my full slate of DLC pieces:

DLC Squad (4).jpg

2021 Wharncliffe Prototype
2014 V1 Morph Talos
2024 V2 Aztec Talos
2024 Topo VECP
2018 Driftwood VECP

It's hard to keep up with the Joneses around here.

That is all.
I’ll be honest, and I don’t take your comment in a bad way at all, but it’s something that does make me hesitate to post sometimes. I think there’s a pretty thin line between sharing pieces you’re excited about and it coming across like one-upmanship, and that’s not something I’m trying to do.

One of the things I’ve really liked about this group is how people get genuinely excited about whatever they have, whether it’s one knife or a dozen. That’s a big part of why I enjoy being here, and I wouldn’t want to shift that into anything competitive.

If it looks like I’ve got a lot, it’s really just because I literally don't collect anything outside of Les George knives. I’ve just funneled most of my hobby time and energy into this one lane over the last handful of years, and that kind of focused interest, along with the kindness and generosity of the LG community, has naturally lead to a deep drawer of interesting knives.

If you knew me better, you'd know that I'm just having a bit of fun.

In no way should you ever feel bad about owning the pieces you own, and your sharing them with the rest of us is to our benefit.

I am not the jealous sort, (when it comes to knives, at least), and admire your collection.

And, truth be told, many would give their eye teeth for just a small collection of such knives as many of us have accumulated or assembled.
(I have a pretty nice collection of custom traditional knives, which was my main area of focus for many years. So, I get it.)

Show 'em if you got 'em and more power to you and all who have 'em.
