The Les George Knives Thread

Day 17

Wtf, is it Wednesday already!

Wasn’t a challenge at all putting this back in the pocket today. This one required a break in. Yesterday morning it didn’t drop shut at all. By the end of the day it did. Was really surprised and impressed how quickly it improved. Kept checking for blade play cause it was hard to believe. By the end of today it will be flopping around like….

I honestly can't believe they haven't sold out yet. Either they had a ton of them or most folks don't know who made it?
I think it's the latter. A lot of people don't realize those are Les George knives. Admittedly, the term "collaboration" is vague. It could mean that Les just tweaked a design via email on a knife that he never touched or it could mean that he and another person brainstormed a knife that Les manufactured and put together in his shop. In the case of Defiant 7, it's him and Chad together in Blue Springs, MS making them. That's the type of collaboration I'm most interested in and why I think so highly of D7.

Yes sir you hit the nail on the head! That's why I jumped on it!

I must admit I hope they sell out soon. Getting very tempting. If they were thumb studs I’d be all over that!
