It's smooth but still needs a little breaking in. My og mk3 was crazy smooth out of the gateHow’s the action? Does it need to break in?
Same here, didn’t take long at all for mine to break in but still not as drop shutty as the og but getting there quickly. It's smooth but still needs a little breaking in. My og mk3 was crazy smooth out of the gate
I'm convincedImagine if Charlie got ahold of it![]()
He absolutely could!I'm convincedccsmith449 could take a picture of a Wal-Mart utility knife and make it look like Excalibur born anew from the forge.
Good research! It's still a 1 of 1 and a piece Les specifically chose to show off on all his social media. The fact any cosmetic imperfections existed from his own testing/handling is the best possible scenario for them. Adds character and confirms the piece!Lol looking at Les's box of goodies I can see the couple spots on it. Gives it character I suppose at least if anyone did it, it's better off being the maker!
I too am a purist. I like my color through and through. Au Naturale. Heat. Patina. Texture. Ti is too purdy for me to want covered.Did it come like that from Texas or is that wear ? Honestly I love the DLC morph look but this is kind of why I’m really set on a morph stonewash VECP
I think that just makes it a 1/1.And then there was threeI'm happy as a kid in a candy store but at the same time kinda bummed. It had a couple spots on the dlc. I guess it's a part of it.View attachment 2514273View attachment 2514274View attachment 2514275View attachment 2514277

I dig it. I can't wait for the same (Morph Talos) either. Everything I have is natural Ti as well. EXCEPT what was to be my gateway drug to LG. My first being a AlBronze Pro Tech Rockeye. All ti . Talos will fit right in
I was wondering who scooped up that one! Welcome to the fold!Y'all got room for another around here?
That freakingmitchnola has been pestering me for so long I just gave in.
“ Les George this and LG That…”
Guess it’s time to see what all the fuss is about.
Incoming.

Exactly my thoughts as wellGood research! It's still a 1 of 1 and a piece Les specifically chose to show off on all his social media. The fact any cosmetic imperfections existed from his own testing/handling is the best possible scenario for them. Adds character and confirms the piece!
Yeah… an exceptionally well done mod. Hard to believe he does the texturing by hand! The darkened thumb studs are a nice touch as wellDay 18: Thermal Thursday
Trying to bring a little bit of heat today with one of my favorite pieces: a DLT 12 Days of Christmas VECP with a hand ground Intrepid Damascus blade. The scales were hand barked by Ray from Cap City Creations, who I believe to be the best scale modifier in the business. I put at Steel Flame Crusader clip on it because the oxidation of the vintage gun metal finish matches up perfectly with the blade.
