The Les George Knives Thread

Just delivered!

Question for the Les Heads: does Les make a larger button lock tanto knife? Seems like I’ve seen them but now I can’t locate one to buy

Congratulations on the mk3! What’re your initial thoughts on it?

The button lock only comes in the drop point blade like the majority of most of his folders excluding the mk3 of course.

There is a frame lock thumb stud vecp with the tanto blade. He only did one batch of those and says he will never do them again. That’s why they’re so sought after by us Les heads and pretty hard to find. He did recently surprise everyone by doing 1 proto Talos with a tanto for the past bladeshow. I kind of think it was an extra he had laying around or found. But I still hold out hope for some new blade shapes one day!

It’s a very hefty knife is my initial thought. Screaming sharp and built like a tank!

Thank you for your info on the tanto blade!

Day 2️⃣5️⃣: I’ve got the Morph MK3 on me today but, as was mentioned a few times yesterday, I thought a partial group pic would be more fun as we wrap up this challenge 🤙

As I’m sure y’all can tell, I love taking pictures of these pieces of art. Group shots are especially challenging to pull off well. Need to keep practicing but I am pretty pleased with how this one turned out!

Day 25: Three for Thursday

With all the justified Servo love on this thread over the last few days, I thought it would be a good time to post the Defiant 7 folder trio:

I was happy to hear that D7 sold out their entire table at Blade Show Texas. They are planning more releases this year so I'd expect some Hyraxes and Kumus to pop up at retailers in the coming months. No word yet on if there will be any new models, but it's always possible!

So my Servo was due to be delivered today, and it's sitting at a P.O. 45 min away. They just changed the delivery day to tomorrow.

I guess I'll have to "suffer" with my VECP for another day.... 🤣

Stunning!

Day 2️⃣6️⃣:

I’ve been fortunate to have 6 different MK3s since they released. All (but one) were spectacular. But these 2 have me spellbound.

Perfectly dialed. Lock up like a bank vault. Comically smooth. I never thought I would actively reach for an MK3 over a VECP, but that has been the case with these.

Happy Friday Y’all 🤘💯🍻

That's Marine. With a capital "M". (Offered simply for info purposes...not as a former jarhead. I did my service in federal LE, and have nothing but respect for the "crayon eaters" I have known.)

I have to admit that today will be the first day of the challenge that I won't be carrying a George knife to work. I'm installing a furnace up in a damn attic today and don't want to risk loosing it or messing it up. This same attic I lost my 200 dollar Microtech pen in a couple months ago 😔. But I bought a new toy here and I hope it makes life a lot easier getting the furnace in and out of the attic! Wish me luck.IMG_20240308_100727084~2.jpg

Good luck! My back hurts just thinking about that. 😆
