The Les George Knives Thread

I mean yeah, it’s pretty awesome…
Y’all say the frame lock ones are smoother, but I can’t imagine one being any smoother than this one!
Good stuff!
They’re not necessarily smoother than the button lock because they have the detent. They’re just much smoother than other frame locks. Especially considering they’re all on pb washers.

I may or may not have personal experience in that arena. But not for curb infractions...
All I can say is:

I have never used the ability to flick or drop shut as the basis for rating a knife's greatness. (I seem to be in a minority on this...)

I'm sure it's a great knife for all the other reasons I value, however.
I agree drop shuttiness really serves no purpose other than to show how smooth the operation is. Kind of like how when CRK’s first came out and everyone was so impressed with how smooth they were with the slow roll.

Truth be told I don’t even close my knives by letting them drop shut. Nor am I impressed by knives that drop shut on bearings. I mean it’s fricking bearings, it should fall shut. But even slow rolling this knife is incredible. I’m more impressed that this action is achieved with washers. Just makes it an absolute pleasure to use! Now I just need something to cut!
