I was thinking today, The Battle Mistress IMO is pretty much the ultimate knife. It's indestructible, chops like a chainsaw and really is begging to be used.

What better way to show your appreciation to the knife than to let it fly.

I know we got some throwers on here, get your Mistresses out of the safe and let them fly like they're meant to. Become part of the flying mistress club, it only hurts the first miss.

I just took a couple videos, i'll be posting them when I get back from the gym or later tonight.

Come get your flying mistress badge.

Alright, got one video uploaded.

Pardon my distance and aim, I'm having a reaaaal hard time filming and throwing at the same time.

What's better than one flying Mistress? 2 flying mistresses! NMFBM and BWM flying.

Some NMFBM action.

The Bushwacker can fly fast, makes me want a SHBM.

If I had a camera man I could get some more distance, but i'd be throwing flyers trying to throw and film.

I think there's a town ordinance that prohibits me from throwing half a yard of sharpened Infi.

the ffbm has plenty of tip metal to take it. The only mistress I've ever thrown was a partially serrated terror monkey bme. it was weird.

I threw my BWM at this unsuspecting tree(i dont have any targets) a few times a few days ago

From about 10ft away...

Pretty cool stuff!!!!!

I don't have a support bench for the log, but I think I can get my wife to hold it up since the stump is thinner than yours.

Yeah, she hardly ever lets me play with my knives, so I think this'll be the perfect opportunity to become acquainted with what gives me so much pleasure. "Slightly to the left, Honey..."

BWM-0.188
BWMLE-0.220

FBMLE.312

Hope this helps, ;)

I think that is awesome 230. You are good at throwing them. I love that sound when they stick.

Cool videos:thumbup:

I am always down. Really, have not done much throwing of the FBMLE.

I have a handful of dedicated throwing tools, from knives to 2 hawks, and Bad Axe, Special forces shovel, and a poll axe head mounted on a pick handle.

Handle hold

Blade hold

I finally broke that stump clean in half. It has been a splitting stump for as long as I can remember. Cut that with my dad when I was a real young kid. I had to replace it with a newer stump.

I actually had to put the stumps in the back yard away for a while, but I made a 6+ foot 3 foot wide throwing target out of 5 or 6 4x4's together. The only problem, is that now, a couple months of throwing knives and axes at it, it is now getting bare enough in spots that I occasionally find one of the deck screws with an edge and really ding it good (I don't throw any infi at it anymore. Not since it was new). I need to think of a better way to make a target, that makes the wood last longer. Stumps are the best, and the easiest to stick into, but get very heavy, and don't offer as much target area as a big wall of boards.

I have more video's of throwing hawks, and knives.

I really need to get some vids of me throwing that 5 lb battle ax. The real reason I made the taller target what that the stumps were not tall enough to throw that beast a full spin.
