The long awaited Jerry Halfrich W/T trapper

fewpop,

Of all the things I have tried that is one I never thought of. I will take several to the woods on opening day and post them on den trees. If this works I'll owe ya some fried tree chicken.....southern style.....white gravy and home fries, ranch beans and corn bread.

Dang James, with a menu like that on the line, if the photos don't work, I might come scratch and yip at the den tree like a blue eyed cur. :D

Y'all don't be talking food now...seeing that map of Texas brought back some fond memories of a place in Clear Springs,TX that had fabulous catfish. I used to travel in that neck of the woods a couple of weeks a year before the textile business took a swan dive.

This has to be the folksy forum because where else does anyone know what a cur is?

And before I forget the important thing... That's a mighty nice knife, Jerry and James.

Now that you will have to take up with Scooter. He is a great limb ratter, see's 'em, looks up at me as if to say "If I can see it you can dang sure hit it".
And if I miss:eek:, oh the looks he can give ya. Makes a grown man want to take up knitting.

Here is a lightweight version of the WT with carbon fiber scales and double bomb shield. Weighs in at 2.1 Oz.

That's a nice one John. Jerry has that WT Pattern really down as well as the rest of his patterns. Sure like the Blade Finish!!

I love the CF, keeps the knives light in the pocket.
Thanks for sharing,
Jim
