The longest you've carried one knife?

My Vic Swisschamp holds the record at about 12 years. Nothing else has ever come close to such a long EDC.

Now I carry a Vic Craftsman (for about the last 6 months), just about the 'perfect' SAK for me......I'll see how long this one lasts.

Carried a BM 640 Mini-Spike every day for 7 years before I lost it. Took a year to find a replacement which I carried for a year and a half. I replaced it with a Spyderco C50P Centofante II when the Vex came out. Everything else gets rotated.

I carried a Spyderco Wayne Goddard Jr. daily from 1996 till around 2004. I've since semi-retired it for a Manix.

I have carried my own Featherlite, K-93 since 1993. I have worn out three blades and lost two knives and given away two more but I still carry that same model. I also carry an Ultimate Pen knife on my key chain, a William Henry B10 with Zdp-189 and Mammoth bark and a Kershaw 1660TIZDP and for the past week our new VG-10 -- Ti lockback 2.5"

Delica 3 for about a year and half and then replaced by a D4. BM Mini-Grip for just over a year. Small SAK for at least two years. All others get rotated occasionally. My D4, Mini-Grip and SAK are typically always with me.

I have an uncle Henry Old Timer 3 blade I got in 85, I carried it almost daily until recently. It now has been semi-retired, as I only use it now during hunting season. I have carried a Spyderco Endura (a bit smaller and cheaper than the police model, non serrated edge, AUS-6 SS) EVERY day for the past year. A nice knife. I wish I had bought the Police model, as it is bigger, but the store was out when I grabbed this. I lost my Buck knife (a big, thick hunting folder) a while back (I think it slipped out of my pocket?), and this Spyderco is lighter, slimmer and clips in the front of my waistband.

If we are talking model my longest continuous carry would be a Victorinox classic - somerwhere in the vicinity of 20 - 25 years.

For individual knives it would be a Schrade Uncle Henry that 897UH that I got in 1987. I carried it for about 10 years. Interesting story, it was a knife I got from Schrade as a replacement for one I lost. That had a free replacement guarantee for lost knives. I was very impressed with their customer service. Oh well, another great company gone. Sigh.

I carried a Victorinox Super Tinker for about 10 years until I discovered the SAK one hander.
