I received a Karl Andersen hunter in a similar package. Took a little gunpowder and a fuse to open it, but sure protects the contents!

I like the concept. :thumbup:

oh yeah, the crate is awesome. Serves dual duty- once the Lynch MOB is done with me, a can be buried in it! Ok, I'm short but not that short:D

I had a great conversation with Tad on the phone a couple nights ago. He's a really great guy, and I have a real appreciation for those who generally display gratitude in all that they do.
I particularly appreciated Tad's note to me that came with this order.

oh and by the way, I guess Tad was feeling bad that the knife took a few days longer than he wanted it to, and astoundingly included this with my MOB;

I'm still a little blown away by all of this.
I am extremely grateful for Tad's generosity and thoughtfulness.

This will certainly not be the last knife(s) I get from Tad, and we potentially already have something else in the works:thumbup:.

That is an awesome knife!! That was really abouve and beyond to send you that little knife too.

I'm glad you like it. As far as the packaging, I ripped it off of Karl Andersen after I saw his on the forum. It's quick to do and secure, he had a great idea.
