In the last thread, I claimed an AR15 magazine from Jake_Lucas, and also said that I wished I had taken a SAK that he offered up as well. I said I wouldn't take the SAK since I didn't want to be greedy, but he gave it to me anyway! Such an unexpected surprise, I love it, it went into the pocket immediately. :D

I just got my RAT wow am I impressed its in perfect condition really smooth working locks up tight and there is no play anywhere. It fits my rather large hands perfect . I love it Thanks a million I'll try to get some photos later.

I'd feel bad going back on my word, but if you're not going to be cross about it we can wait for him to pop up and say he wants it? Say, till midnight central time tonight? I think that's fair. If he doesn't show I'll default it to you?

The knife I got?

Ladybug was my guess for the 6th model spyderco.

The knife i got IS a modded spyderco delica wave, wave removed, and he did a good job removing it too!! Looks better than with the wave IMO.

Ok, so I'll keep an eye out, you guys can decide who gets it. I think you've all demonstrated you're more than capable of working it out congenially, I just don't want to sour anyone's cornflakes at this point.

WW I LOL'd when you said it was sharp, its actually the one I was most upset for sending out like that, it might cut paper but i donthink it shaves does it? Either way I'm glad you like it, the lockbar is my favorite part of that knife but the blade with its removed wave it pretty cool too. As for dying it, go for it. I actually just dyed my first knife last weekend and have a set of yellow scales for my mini-grip another member sent me to try to get them Xbox game case green.

Sir_mike, PM me your address, I have an old diamond stone I'm sending you with a wood base I made for it, its close to the grits we talked about, its only a 4x1 but for medium sized pocket knives its adiquate and it should help ya out some, atleast show you what a diamond stone can do over your old norton stone on "modern" steels.
 
If you are offering a mora then i would like one. I have always wanted to try one out but just havnt got around to buying one.

If you are giving a knife and its dull and your not capable of sharpening it up yourself (or you just dont have the time of day) before sending it to its new home send it to me first, I will get it nice and sharp for the new owner and send it on on my own dime to the person that's claimed it, I can consistently get hair shaving/push cutting [A4 coppy] paper sharp. Turn around one will be same day the mail gets here early or next day if it doesn't get here till late afternoon (mail here is as incossistent as the ohio weather). Like I said my motivation to offer the service is because it irks me I didn't take the time to send the sharpent edge I could and I'm pretty bummed about that.
I would also entertain sharpening knives not beig given away too as long as I don't get overloaded with it.

I actually have an event this weekend sharpening blades at a local horse/livestock sale so I don't want to start till next week but unless your close I doubt any packages could get here in one day anyhow so pretty much I can start now.

And speaking of the knives you sent out....
I got the tip of the Case's main blade pointy again & gave each blade a few licks on a ceramic rod & it was shaving paper curlies.
(I try to conserve what little hair I have left,be it head or arms ;))

I made a few curly sticks with it last night while prepping for a fire in the fireplace.
Thanks again for offering it up,I love this knife & can't wait to take it camping with me!
