Looks like ChevyHP68 was the first, so send me an address chevy and it will go out!

Btw, I am a Chevy fan, though I drive a Ford........figure that one out! Anyway, in my youth I had a 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS with the 396 and cowl induction. Man late at night, floor it, watch that cowl flip up and hear that big quadrajet carb open those back holes and just suck down that ~ 40 cent a gallon gas! Man nothing like it at all!!!! Those were the days.

Send me the mailing address chevy.

Yup, I know that feeling. Friend helped me restore a '69 Camaro SS with a 396 in it. That baby could really fly.

That's friggin sweet. I'm an El Camino kinda dude myself. But for modern stuff, I'm a Dodge man.

I'LL TAKE IT WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, next up I'll be offering my 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS with the 396 and cowl induction from my youth. I no longer trust myself driving it.

Fantastic!! Thanks for a great knife. Speaking of Chevys I had a 1968 Camaro 396 which I sold a few years ago. Now I have a 62 1/2 Chevy 2 which needs to be restored.

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! This thread has taken over! I'm only up to page 25 but I had to come to the last page and post. Jim you have started something that is amazing, and what little inspiration I may have been is nothing compared to what you have done here. Jim ALL good karma to you, and to all of you who have participated!

Calvin, the 4Sevens Preon 1 is packaged and ready to go out tomorrow.
Jim, the ZT0550 has been packaged for a week but will go tomorrow.

Now, I have another item that I really like, but I never carry it anymore, so it needs to go to someone else who will. It has been carried, but never really used, as are all of my big folders since I just carry them because I like a quality piece of cutlery in my pocket.

The item is a Hogue EX02 3.75" Spear Point Green G-Mascus and it is a very nice piece.

So..................post here and send me an email. It will probably be next week, early next week, before it goes out, but who knows........:D

I'd love the Hogue if still available. If not, that is fine.

This is the first time in my life I've had a job that affords me enough money to have a little extra. There have been a lot of people in my life that have been very generous and kept me from being homeless. Least I can do is help someone else n need. Just strip the crappy coating when it comes in.

Just wanted to say that is awesome of you! I wish I was in that boat to pay it forward in that way but I am not so just wanted to say "you rock"! :D

I too hate the coating and the reason I never bought a Becker but love their knives! :D

You know what I love about this thread? I'm learning stuff. For example, I had no idea that Hogue made knives. And I had no idea they were nice (and expensive) knives. Cutter, you are the MAN! Very nice stuff right there.

Well, I'm going to sleep, but you know what, let's make a game out of that:

The person who most closely guesses the time I wake up next morning (over or under) wins a Kershaw Brawler. Guesses can be posted here or emailed, and it should be in the form of hh:mm. If the same answer shows up, the earliest entry trumps.

Good night, and good luck :)

Heck of a lot of generosity going around. I'll have to put something up after the weekend. I gotta figure out what still.

strippping them is half the fun. if it's a knife I may use for food prep ( my bk14) I strip it with chemicals and force a patina. if it's for wood processing only (bk91), I like letting the coating wear off on its own.
