The MASSIVE INCREDIBLE PAY IT FORWARD THREAD - PART DEUX!

OK, awesome folks, I got a serious request. The really cool BF member that inspired me to come up with the idea for this post that has taken on a mind of its own needs something. He's hurting pretty bad, both physically, and especially mentally. He needs our thoughts and prayers right now more than anything we could ever give physically. I'm a deeply religious person, so praying for someone in need comes natural. There are a bunch of you who are the same. There are also plenty of you who are spiritual in your own way, or maybe not at all. Do me a favor, keep this great guy in your prayers, positive thoughts, send positive energy, or whatever you can do. He needs us. Thanks.
 
I have a large Sak up for grabs. Not sure of the model it was one of the many that Remy sent me. I can't post a pic through Tapatalk but will email it to anyone interested. It has large and small blade, can opener, bottle opener, corkscrew and awl. It's well used but lots of life left. I also have a hunting knife coming up soon so stay tuned! LoL

I think giving a prayer is more important than material things we can give. I think it is a great idea for you to intercede for your buddy. My prayers will go out for him as well. Good job Jimh0220.

So here is some positive karma. This is an upcoming offer from lionesser, who i shipped an orange Rat 1. We thought it was stolen in transit, so i sent an orange Rat 2 as a replacement that lionesser thought would be better anyway. Turns out it wasn't stolen but temporarily misplaced. So we decided that in the spirit if the thread the Lost and Found Rat should make its way back here for someone else. Look for it in the next few days. Pics of the Lost and Found RAT 1:

I've been meaning to try a RAT 1 out for such a long time. I'd be happy to take it off your hands, or theirs. If orange isn't my thing I'll buy another and pass this one on.
 
The Lost and Found Rat 1 will be offered by lionesser, so not my call, just thought it was nice that it is making its way back here :)

Lionesser indicated having several items to offer, so definitely keep an eye out for that

RemyKaze i really like that idea btw, if you pick something up here that doesn't work out for you why not offer it back to the thread?
 
I pray your friend will be all right. Is there anything else we as a community can do for him?

So keep an eye open and this weekend I'll dig all that stuff out & probably have some stuff to giveaway from this stash if anyone is interested

Lobo To tell the truth I have been making more grinders and am now working on a rolling mill than making knives. I've been doing lots of welding lately. I could probably use some of it. You may feel like I did about the bow I gave NY outdoors. It was a good bow and I paid a lot of money for it, but I'll never use it again so might as well let someone else enjoy it.
 
I just received the RAT-1 fetzer85 purchased and had sent to me, what an awesome knife, really got some heft to it. And fetzer86, what an awesome guy, thank you sir. I'm not gonna go back into the meaning/story behind the knife but I am having my wife's friend with a plotter print me out a vinyl decal of my dads signature and then using that as a template to acid etch his name/signature onto the blade.

Yeah, kinda like a pass around. I know some people do that on BF, especially those that don't get to handle knives for themselves before buying online. I personally am more interested in the olive drab Rat 1, so I'd prob put the orange one back into rotation.
