This really isn't meant to be a "throwing hawk". It is designed to be a serious tool and Close Quarters Combat weapon. As much fun as it is to throw a tomahawk at a stump, and I have several hawks and two really big "stumps o' death" to throw at, it is an extremely questionable technique at best to employ in a real, life and death fight for survival. I am no more a proponent of throwing away your war hawk than I am of throwing away your loaded gun. The great thing about the "Megalodon" is that it NEVER runs out of bullets!!!!! Therefore, why would you ever throw it away?
Perhaps if you watch too many reruns of "The Patriot" and believe that in a real life and death encounter that you will have the time to calculate spin and distance, then perhaps you should chance throwing your weapon at the person who is trying to kill you. I'm not saying that it can't be done, but it would have to be in a final act of desperation. I have little doubt that the Megalodon would do major damage to its intended target if thrown, as long as it hits that target, but again, I liken it to throwing away your loaded firearm.
The other great design feature of The Megalodon, is that it is designed as a field utility tool and offers 2-3 times more cutting edge than most any other "hawk" on the market. It is a very functional design and should fill a niche in the market that seems to have gone unaddressed up until now.
Nuke on!!!!!
