The Mistress and the Beast.

That thing is asking for a full convex grind, or at least a full height flat grind.

Nice. I would love to throw that beast.

OMFG!!!!! I've never seen such a thing. I bet it's good at filleting bream.:D Awesome knives mate:thumbup:

Beautiful knife man! I have a 1/2'' Bolo and love that friggin beast. There's no other name for knives that thick!

I don't think your nuts - if I thought I could actually get one of the kami's to make me a 3/4" thick 17" ang khola, I'd buy it in a heart beat (that kinda steel thickness is hard to find in nepal/india, and even harder to hand forge).

I just would have tapered the tang to reduce weight, and had the blade be a two part full flat, like those found on khukuries.

thats a pretty awesome piece though :D

WoW, great comparison. And I thought the FBMLE was heavy:o

What a knife:thumbup:

Where do the wheels go so you can move it around? Is the sheath made of cast iron or lead?

Thanks for the comments, guys.
I figured, most of you would get a kick out of seeing her.
I wonder, when Jerry will bring out a 1/2" spine Battle Mistress ? :)
How many would sell; what do you guys think ? :D
Here's two more pics.

That's all kinds of crazy...

You done any chopping with it?

Not yet.
I figure, I wouldn't want to chop straight down onto something too small as the momentum from all that weight would be hard to stop !
Would hate to cut my own limbs off. :)

It looks like there is more than one bevel there, so one can't really comment about the geometry without having the knife in hand.

BUT, if there was just the single bevel that went up the blade for 1", by my calculation, the angle of that edge would be at almost 29 degrees!

Is it a blade is it a crowbar...Who knows??? Never seen something like it. Really nice! Post some chopping pics!

Way too hot to chop anything right now. :(
It's 93 deg. outside and feels like 110.
I don't do the outdoors thing in hot weather. :)

That is SWEET . Looks like you would need !/2 a cowhide for a sheath . Thanks for the pics .
