Due to the unfortunate passing of Dave Martin the Buck forum currently does not have a dedicated moderator, I’m here to temporarily fill that void.

The Buck forum is one of the most laid back and trouble free on BF’s, if you continue to stir the pot it will not matter to me whether you’re BG42/Vorpal or not, I’ll ban you regardless

hello vorpal---yes thank you for buying that 121 guide knife with the aluminum hardware from me about 4 years ago...i remember you questioning the authenticity of it back then and i believe we straightened all of that confusion you had -out -as the knife was delivered to you in minnesota with certificate of authenticity letter from joe houser-and now you question it again saying that it may have been a lunchbox knife-whats up with that??????
 
He did some stirring on the thread “ what happened to bg42” I guess old habits are hard to break. 😆

All news to me.

I didn't get ANYTHING when I bought it on e-Bay a couple of years ago. I think the previous owner is dead. The people selling it didn't even have a box, much less a letter from Joe Houser.

I'm going to contact him with a picture and try to get the back story. I'd love to find out that he made it himself by mistake. :D

On the other hand, there could be a similar lunch box knife or two in existence.

The mysteries are what's great about collecting Bucks.

yep. tigers don't change their stripes. same mannerisms and style..that caught Makaels attention and mine . could be a highly unlikely and weird coincidence, but Makael did the detective work on the 121...plus dogpound knows what he sold and to who. it aint lookin good for vr.

we have a long history with bg42edge/vorpal rain. hes been banned for life a minimum of twice. thats says it all really.

boru13 is fair but firm. also fierce and a force not to be played with......and will catch him eventually. if the same games are gonna be played. so we should just avoid the bait and wait it out patiently.

Vorpal posted the pic of the 102 a few years ago. Today he posted in the 102 thread the same knife. If you look at BUCK logo on snap its aimed the same direction as Vorpals back then.
Same knife. Same snap angle pointed upside down to the B on the BUCK sheath stamp.

Small world once again.

I do believe it's the same knife. I got it at an estate sale a few years ago with some other nice knives that I probably paid too much for........so what is your point?

And please stop taking this good 121 Guide thread off topic or it will be ME reporting YOU.
