The Most "Classic" American Knife

A big ol' Bowie.

I was thinking a Bowie knife from the moment I read the thread title. I clicked through fully expecting to see that as a choice. I voted "other."

In my part of the country, while growing up it was an Old Timer or Case 3 blade stockman. The more well to do had the Case, the rest the Old Timers.

Same here. I voted the Ka-Bar USMC but prefer the Ka-Bar full length tanto.
