The Most "Classic" American Knife

What's the most "American" knife?

I just did a little googling because I had a funny feeling about something. And if one were to read this question very literally, most everyone here would be wrong. :D
 
I had to vote 110, but the big 'ol American Bowie/Kabar/SOG/Rambo type knives sure are deserving, too.
 
In my part of the country, while growing up it was an Old Timer or Case 3 blade stockman. The more well to do had the Case, the rest the Old Timers.

Maybe . . . but most of us don't know how to knap flint any more.
 
For me 110 is just like oure Opinel... When I was a child the 110 design was my first Graal 
 
I don't own a 110 :foot:

I have a Buck-Lite though.


Maybe I had better pick up a 110 :D
