The most comfortable knife you've held...

The most comfortable folders I have ever used, are the Buck 110, followed by the Kershaw Blur, Avalanche, and the Spyderco Para-Military.

In a folder, probably the Spyderco Native
In a fixed blade, the Spyderco Perrin Street Beat

Swamp Rat Howling Rat Little Mischief

IIRC it was a base model Crawford Kasper but I still ended up getting rid of it a long time ago for other reasons.

I own many beautiful knives. I'm embarrassed to say that the Gerber Gator I bought for my kid is the most comfortable knife I've ever handled.

Fixed:
-Large Ka-Bar TDI
-Buck Nighthawk
-USMC Ka-Bar
(In that order)

Folders:
-Buck/Strider 889
-Emerson Combat Kerambit
(In that order)

#1 -Any one of a number of Livesay FB's
Honorable mention - Spyderco Temperance FB
Folder -Spyderco Calypso or Calypso Jr.

I broke my hand last year, and the bone behind my pinkie knuckle healed at a 30 degree angle. Ever since then, I've gotten real picky about handles. I don't know if this counts, but I made this knife to fit my own hand:

As far as folders go, The full size Manix fits my hand real well!

  1. Emerson Full-size Commander
  2. LLC (formerly the Spyderco Gunting)

How a knife fits in my hand is extremely important
