The most comfortable knife you've held...

The Emerson CQC14 struck me as the extremely nice in the hand. So did the CQC13.

The Kershaw Blur did sit well with me also and so did the Junk Yard Dog II by Kershaw.

Spyderco's Calypso Jr. and Para Military are both very nice in the hand too and I also like the way the Dodo fits my hand even though its a discontinued knife. I'll go one further and just say the Dodo and the CQC14 are in my opinion two fo the nicest knives in the hand when opened and ready for use that I've ever held.

I'd really love to See Spyderco come back with a more conventional blade shape utilizing that same Dodo handle and lock only with some inlayed partial steel liners for reinforcement.

Have you checked out the Poliwog? Handle isn't identical, but very similar and with a leaf shaped blade. I'm not a fan of SS handles because they can get slippery, but that knife is the most comfortable knife I've held to date, moreso than the Dodo for me.

I think it would be a great for Spyderco to make a Dodo handle with another blade and this has been suggested before. I think the hard part is selling them because they lack aesthetic beauty (until you hold it of course).

I have a Poliwog. My wife took it. :D But thats fine. Its one of those knives I love when opened but closed its not exactly easy to handle for my big hands. The stainless handle and the wedge shape or arrow shape when closed don't much help either.

Of the knives that I have, I will say the Spyderco Native III 3D. Nice full handle, choils in the right place, rounded handle fits my hand better and the texturing makes it nice and grippy.

The Spyderco Dodo is probably the most comfortable knife that I have ever used. A close second would have to be the Spyderco Lil Temp.

All these I find very comfy in hand too:
Kershaw Junkyard Dog II
Spyderco Mini Manix, Assist , and D'allara (I've got the Drop Point) handles are sweet too...

The knife that feels the most comfortable for me is this Burt Foster Personal:

The size is perfect and the shape makes it feel like it belongs there.

I broke my hand last year, and the bone behind my pinkie knuckle healed at a 30 degree angle. Ever since then, I've gotten real picky about handles. I don't know if this counts, but I made this knife to fit my own hand:

As far as folders go, The full size Manix fits my hand real well!

i LOVE that design. A fully triangular blade with everything else that knife has would be a killer knife. Did you make the whole thing? If so how much to make me one?

What I carry and what feels good in the hand are two different things. Probably the most comfortable folder I've held is the Cold Steel Pro-Lite tanto. Fixed blades, however, are more difficult to differentiate. For short term cutting, I really like the Cold Steel Peacekeeper. I also love my dad's World War II Ka-Bar.

I have a medium size hand. The Spyderco UKPK is very nice to hold. And so does BM 806AFCK in D2. Cheers!
