The most hated knife you own.

I mentioned my kabar earlier. The next knife I hate will be the one that my mother in law buys me for Christmas. I love that woman dearly but I have a box full of cheap junk she has bought me over the years that I never use but wont part with.

I have a block of kitchen knives that are absolute garbage--only the steak knives see any sort of use... :o

Isn't that the truth!!!
I beg friends and family not to buy me a knife as a gift:grumpy: The only one I love getting knives from is my son-in-law, At least he's buying quality knives and he can afford to (love em all - good son-in-law).

I got a couple CRKT folders off of one of those deal of the day sites. Looked like a good deal, but after getting them I was just completely disappointed. Heavy, blade was soft, partially serrated, and honestly just not my cup of tea. Also, clip was loose within one carrying.

I was glad I spent a grand total of $30 or something for both, they weren't worth that.

At the moment I only have a knock off hk style liner lock that I hate. It was a gift but man I hate it. I opened it once and tried to be as nice as I could about receiving it. It weighs more than my zt 550 and 500 put together. It has stayed in the drawer in its box since the day I got it. Every time I open that drawer I throw up a little bit in my mouth..

Kershaw leek , I overpaid for it trying to sweeten a deal with a client. It was too slim , the blade was awful, and it would engage the blade lock by itself. I actually gave the knife away so I could buy another knife( and feel like a did a good deed).

Mine is my 1966 puma skinner that my now dead father -in-law gave me. Great knife very proud to have it so much so that I can't carry it or use it . I just look at it from time to time and miss my father in law & friend.

That's surprising. I love my Leeks.

My dad got me some 1.5 inch Buffalo Printed 5 blade knock off. It has so much black grease on it that when he gave it to me the inside of the box was black instead of gray. The funny part is how gritty it is, even with all the grease. I'm still trying to figure out if he gave it to me as a joke. Of course I'll never get rid of it, or carry it. I gave him a Spyderco DragonFly 2 to say thanks and show him what a high quality little blade looks like.

I gotta say my least favorite knife is my spyderco tenacious, has horrible blade play, the pivot screw stripped from trying to tighten it. Blade play pisses me off so much Id rather take my gerber evos and bear grylls scout out than my tenacious. And I payed 60 bucks for it because retail prices in Canada are crazy

Coming in at a very distant second place for most hated is my Cold Steel Ti-Lite zytel. I'd give this knife 3 stars. I like the proportions of the knife but the handle is pretty uncomfortable, as are the flippers.

I've tried that knife in the store, and it's so hard to open... I don't know who uses them, but they must have fingers of textured steel.

I very nearly hate my small Buck Vantage. It feels gritty, and no amount of cleaning seems to do anything. The flipper is minuscule, and the opening hole is half blocked by the handle. It's brutal.

I also have a knockoff benchmade fix blade, that weight as much as a louisville slugger and is roughly the size of my izula II. Its a complete waste of the garbage steel its made of.

I love all my knives granted i only have 3 folders and 2 fixed blade... but i kinda feel sorry for all you fellas that endure such crap from your knives.

I don't know if I hate it, but I'm having a hard time warming up to the Buck CSAR-T I bought a few months back.
The rough G10 makes it hard to remove from my pocket and the lock is like a bear trap to disengage.

As far as the rough G-10, have you tried sanding under the pocket clip? On my knives with this issue it works well to remove the clip and sand the area underneath if not the whole scale.

well when you own 20+ knives you are bound to not like a few of them. My benchmade that I despise was the knife that got me into collecting, so I'll never get rid of it.
