The most hated knife you own.

Well, I did own it.
Mine was honestly a benchmade mini skirmish.
Haven't had the majesty of a fullsize, to me the mini skirmish was like finding the woman of my dreams and she was just too small .)

I don't know, design a different handgun or design a rifle. Why not, there would be plenty of market for a Glock rifle. Just like how there would be plenty of market for a different EKI knife.

Sure he could develop new products, I'd be first in line for a Glock carbine, but you mentioned him refusing tk evolve his design of current products, which is what I was asking about.

Something on topic, I recently found one of the first knives I bought, a S&W branded paratrooper style knife. I have no idea what I ever liked about it.

You don't wanna know, I have a nice collection of chinese "collectible" knives, specifically the "wildlife series" by Maxam, never knew plastic trash could look good, why don't I get rid of it? Birthday gift from my grandparents :D so very sentimental, just don't leave the very bottom of my drawer......of spare chinese knives......always need a good wedge :barf:

Anybody want a 350?

Yes, as a matter of fact recurves get along very well with me  shoot me an email man I'll help yah out :p

The only knife I own that I really don't like is my Kershaw Speedform. It's just so ugly. Nothing wrong with it, everything about it is great except for its looks. I wan't to trade mine.

The most hated knife I own would be the Spyderco Caly 3.5. Not hated by me, mind you, but by mountain lions all across the lands.

Are mountain lions like attracted to spyderco carriers or something? I'm half surprised one hasn't ambushed me on the streets of Pittsburgh yet with all the stories I've heard. Wasn't the temperance 2 designed to fend off mountain lions or something?

I'll get some flack for this, but waved endura and BM griptillian.

The endura for the lock and saber grind (won't get sharp for some reason/ slight blade play/ pocket clip fell off)

Grip just feels cheap/coated blade and serrations.

The worst knife I've ever owned was a Smith & Wesson cutting horse. One day the entire knife came apart when I opened it.

Funny you should mention Smith & Wesson. Worst knife I owned was some small Smith & Wesson assisted SWAT knife. I swear, this knife was glued together or something. First, the low-grade skateboard tape they used as handle inserts peeled off; then a small piece of plastic just fell out of the knife. Then the knife itself completely fell apart. (That was before I joined Bladeforums and started learning things.)

I don't hate any of the knives that I own, however after evolving a little and learning my likes and dislikes, I now know that I will not buy another knife that has blade coatings or serations.

Did some trading some years back and ended up with a few Kershaws (and I don't like them at all.) and can't even give them away at a give-a-way price.!!**

You ever have Knives like that ~~ you would like to just through away.??????

Never had a Spyderco I did not like or a Custom Folder or Custom Sheath Knife or a production Buck ect. ~ ect.!!***** Some days you just can't win.!*?!!

Hello!

Not really "hate", but the knives that never seemed "right" to me were all the "traditional" slipjoints I have tried so far (production and custom alike). Don't know what it is, they are not for me.

Other than that there were too many knives with quality issues to remember (also production and custom alike). ;)

Regards,
Alex

3 auto's I've owned over the years, an original Ochs SEALS black knife, wonderfully wobbly bladed piece that fired like the pivot was full of sand and it wasn't. A MT UDT that was the same, and a Paragon copy of the above Ochs auto. Best auto's I've ever owned though were an LCC d/a and a couple of Pro Tech's(simply SUPERB). Hated the others mentioned though. Live and learn. keepem sharp

My buck max light, not for the reasons of the knife out of box, but because i managed to screw the edge up compleatley and my brother tried sharpening it with a kitchen knife sharpener, wich removed too much material due to the perpendicular grain lines, but for the blade out of box, not too fond of the stone washed blade, i prefer either coated or mirror finish as i use coated knifes and leave un coated for display, and stone washed is personally not appealing to me.

Kershaw Skyline Red Stonewashed Blade. I can't get it close to centered without cranking down so hard that I can't get it open. I sent it in to Kershaw and it came back in the identical condition. They could have replaced it with a regular Skyline but the LE is worth way more. I'm going to experiment with some different washers and see if I can fix it myself.

Boker elegance carbon uneven swadge on the top of the blade and very little lock up on the button so it sits in a cabinet untouched and un carried good thing i got it on sale

my most hated knife is the G-force dual action auto that i just got. I purchased on of these 8 years ago at a flea market and it was AMAZING. Mine had an AUS-8 blade. It was IDENTICAL in every way to the V&D knife. Mine was even made in Taiwan like the V&D. I got the thing for $15 and now V&D's are over $100. Sad. But the new ones made in china are absolutely disgusting.

I know i can adjust it, but for that price I shouldn't have to
For that price the knife should be custom tailored to your specific tastes on how you like a pivot? LOL, thats like saying when you buy a car you shouldnt have to move the seat or adjust the mirrors. They cant possibly know how each individual customer prefers certain things. That is why, its......... wait for it.............................adjustable.

An old 9 dollar Ruko I bought for fishing when I was 13. It was and still is just terrible, but it was all I could afford at the time.
